World Business Forum lets you explore businesses without creating an account. This notice describes the information used by the directory’s current features.
Search and public listings
Search text, selected country or city, filters and selected map area are sent to the directory service to return matching businesses. Public profiles display business information submitted by owners or drawn from the identified public source. Source and claim labels distinguish these records.
Saved businesses and comparison
Saved business identifiers and comparison selections are stored in this browser’s local storage. They persist on this device until you remove them or clear the site’s browser data. These features do not require an account.
Accounts and business management
Registering, signing in and managing a listing sends account and business information to the directory service. Authentication uses browser token storage and cookies to maintain the sign-in session. Information entered for publication in a business profile can be visible to other visitors.
Claims and business conversations
Ownership and location evidence is private to its submitter and authorized platform reviewers. Capability declarations and active confirmation statements are public; supporting evidence is not. Saved requirements are account-private. When you send an introduction, each chosen business receives a separate conversation containing your requirement, introduction and account identity. Recipients cannot read each other’s conversations. Notification emails link to the inbox without including message content.
Use the report and block controls to flag unwanted contact. Closing a conversation does not erase its history. Accounts with ownership or conversation records require a reviewed closure and erasure request through Account closure & data review; records are not silently deleted. Do not submit identity documents, credentials or payment information. An unfinished introduction is kept in this browser’s session storage only when you choose to sign in to send, and is restored once within one hour.
Aggregate reporting and optional assistance
We count partner-search appearances and browser-reported profile loads by day, business and broad source (directory, external or direct). These counters contain no visitor identifier, IP address, search text or full referring URL. Known automated clients are counted separately; these figures do not represent unique people.
The local requirement helper processes your text within the directory. External AI is disabled by default. If enabled later, signed-in visitors must explicitly choose to send the typed requirement to OpenAI. Common email addresses, links and phone-number patterns are removed first, but automated redaction cannot identify every private detail. Do not include confidential information. Account identity, conversations and private business evidence are not sent. We retain provider usage counts and conservative cost reservations, not the prompt or response, in assistance reporting.
Maps and external links
When an interactive Google map loads, your browser connects to Google and shares technical information needed to deliver its service, including your IP address and browser information. Google’s handling of that information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. External business websites and map services have their own privacy practices.
Your choices
You can browse list results without interacting with the map, remove saved businesses, sign out, or clear this site’s local storage and cookies through your browser settings. Clearing authentication data signs you out. Review business information before publishing it and avoid submitting private information in public profile fields.
